Job Summary
We are seeking an HVAC BIM Modeler with 2+ years of experience to join our team in Chennai, focusing on creating and coordinating detailed BIM models for HVAC and MEP systems, and ensuring high-quality, integrated designs for diverse projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems using Revit MEP.
- Prepare construction drawings—including plans, sections, and details—up to LOD 400.
- Prepare in detail design drawings in Air-conditioning, Ventilation chilled water.
- Extract quantity take-offs and schedules from models for estimation and preparing BOQ.
- Support model updates and revisions based on design changes, redlines, and markups.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and stakeholders.
- Participate in clash detection reviews and assist with issue resolution in Navisworks or equivalent.
- Maintain rigorous documentation, version control, and adherence to BIM standards and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360/ACC.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and MEP modeling logic.
- Experience with digital collaboration platforms and Common Data Environment (CDE) concepts.
- Familiarity with international building codes (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NFPA, IPC).
- Excellent communication, team coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
