Job Summary
We are seeking a Structural BIM Modeler with 2+ years of experience to develop accurate BIM and shop drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with international project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed BIM models and preparation of structural layout drawings for steel components in Revit.
- The candidate should possess a strong understanding of sheet creation within BIM workflows, including the ability to organize, set up, and manage drawing sheets for structural models
- Coordinate with architects, MEP, and other disciplines for clash detection and seamless model integration.
- Organize files, backups, and ensure rigorous change documentation and file management.
- Communicate effectively with teammates, leaders, and project managers for successful project delivery.
- Revise drawings based on markups, design changes, or site feedback while maintaining version history and accuracy.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with project documentation standards.
Technical / Must-Have Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD for structural modelling and drawing production.
- Knowledge in working on CDE/BIM360
- Experience with BIM coordination, interdisciplinary clash detection, and documentation.
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and task prioritization skills.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
