- Thermal Comfort Study Using CFD Analysis for Cinema Hall
Project Summary
Conserve Solutions carried out an advanced thermal comfort analysis for the Cinema Theatre located within Qatar. The study involved creating a detailed 3D model of the entire theatre, including geometry and precise locations and sizes of air outlets. Boundary conditions such as temperature, relative humidity, and airflow rates were defined to simulate the indoor environment accurately.
The CFD analysis helped to understand the airflow dynamics within the cinema hall, identifying hotspots and areas of suboptimal comfort. Based on the simulation results, engineering recommendations were provided to address and mitigate thermal discomfort issues, enhancing occupant comfort and HVAC system performance.
