Scope of Work
- Thermal Comfort Study Using CFD Analysis – Conference Rooms and Ballrooms
Project Summary
Conserve Solutions conducted an advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) thermal comfort analysis for the Qatar Petroleum Industrial Project’s conference rooms and ballrooms. The study involved detailed 3D modeling of the spaces with accurate geometry, including the locations and sizes of the air outlets. Boundary conditions including temperature, relative humidity, and outlet flow rates were carefully set to replicate real indoor environmental conditions.
The CFD analysis provided insight into airflow patterns, allowing the identification of thermal hotspots and areas that did not meet comfort standards. Based on these findings, engineering recommendations were made to resolve non-conformities and enhance occupant comfort.
This project highlights Conserve’s expertise in deploying CFD to optimize indoor environmental quality in large, complex commercial facilities, supporting Qatar’s vision for sustainable and comfortable workplaces.
