- Surge & Stress Analysis for the Submersible Pump discharge
- Piping Arrangement of Storm water Tank
Project Summary
- Conduct surge analysis to evaluate the impact of transient operations on the pressurized storm water network, and design the system to mitigate these impacts.
- Scenarios Considered: Pump Start-Up Conditions, Pump Trip Conditions.
- Conduct the stress analysis, to confirm that piping system stresses are within those allowed by the applicable code, Hydro Stress Check, Sustained Stress Check, Thermal Stress Range Check
- To confirm that piping system deflections /displacements are within reasonable limits.
- To verify/provide piping loads at major supports to enable the design of supports, guides,
- line stops, etc.
- To identify support locations/types and to specify special support requirements if necessary.
- To confirm that calculated piping loads acting on equipment nozzles are acceptable as per the applicable code/standard allowable data.
