- Smoke Simulation Study Using CFD Analysis
Project Summary
Conserve Solutions performed an advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) smoke simulation study for the Commercial Mall Project Qatar and it’s Connection Bridge. The 3D modeling included the entire domain with precise geometrical representation along with the locations and sizes of air outlets and fresh air inlets. Boundary conditions such as temperature, critical areas, and flow rates were set to replicate realistic scenarios.
The CFD analysis examined airflow and smoke evacuation patterns, determining the time required for smoke clearance under emergency conditions. Critical areas where airflow was insufficient were identified, and engineering recommendations were developed to address and rectify the non-conformances, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
This project highlights Conserve’s competence in utilizing CFD to optimize fire safety systems and smoke management in complex architectural structures, enhancing occupant safety and emergency responsiveness.
