Project Summary
Conserve Solutions performed thorough stress analysis on the entire chilled water piping network of the Qatar Rail Metro underground system. Using CAESAR II and following ASME B31.1 standards, the team evaluated piping stresses and designed shoe plates for critical pipe supports sized 700 mm diameter and above. The project encompassed multiple support types—rest, guide, hold-down, and multiaxial restraints—with associated shop drawings prepared for precision fabrication and installation. This work was pivotal in ensuring system robustness, operational reliability, and compliance with Qatar’s rigorous transit infrastructure standards.
