Project Summary
Conserve Solutions performed advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis for an integrated industrial wastewater treatment facility, focusing on the wet well component of the pumping station. The 3D model encompassed the entire station from the inlet lift station to the pump suction, including the screen, filtration chamber, and wet well.
Boundary conditions were defined based on wastewater flow rate, density, and other critical parameters to simulate real operating conditions. Transient analysis was conducted to study wastewater flow patterns and identify sedimentation zones inside the wet well. Findings from the simulation helped highlight areas prone to sediment build-up, enabling the formulation of engineering recommendations to mitigate flow inefficiencies and improve operational performance.
This project underscores Conserve’s expertise in the application of CFD for optimizing wastewater infrastructure, ensuring effective hydraulic performance, and supporting sustainable industrial water management.
