Project Summary
Conserve’s role in the project involved laser scanning and updating the BIM model of the existing hostel building based on as-built conditions. The project includes a proposed two-storey vertical extension supported by architectural, structural, and MEP design services across multiple RIBA stages. BIM coordination, clash detection, and construction documentation were carried out to deliver a fully coordinated LOD 300 model while supporting the project’s BREEAM sustainability objectives. All design and construction documentation were developed in compliance with applicable UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, and relevant statutory standards.
